It takes a lot of courage to begin to think about change.

Sometimes change is something you control, and sometimes change is a result of life events.

Either way, accepting change can lead to learning how you can have a more fulfilling, less stressful, and more balanced life.

Accepting change also gives you the opportunity to recognize and honour who you were before the change happened in your life.

Life is a journey filled with mountains, valleys, pastures, and pitfalls.

Counselling can help you find the strength needed for the hard climbs, new perspectives, guidance on an unclear path, and the motivation to help you move forward.

"Each time I come out of the room feeling more space to breathe, a lightness, and most of all a sense that someone truly cares about me.

Tanya is such a gifted counsellor with the ability to shed light on the darkest of places. I am so grateful for everything that she has done for me.”

Tanya is a Canadian Certified Counselor and holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Victoria.

Her focus has been working with youth and adults to face their fears and to find direction in their lives.

Tanya works from a client centered, holistic approach; meeting clients where they are at and adapting her counseling style to meet clients’ individual needs.

Tanya creates with her clients a non-judgmental, supportive, and authentic space.

She works with a premise that life is about balance and that everyone has their own, unique version of balance.

She believes people have an inherent need to belong, feel accepted and make meaningful connections in their lives.

Working with Tanya, clients find an acceptance of themselves and their past, while learning to forgive and let go of painful experiences and patterned behavior.

Clients expand awareness of their needs and increase their ability to connect with others.

"When I found Tanya, I found someone that I could talk to, with no judgment.

Someone that came to the room with an open heart and never made me feel like my emotions were invalid.

She’s helping me to believe in my strength and courage. To trust the process and let go of judgment.

Words can’t explain how grateful I am for my time with Tanya."
